The Bangladesh Society for Pharmaceutical Professionals (BSPP) consists of about 2000 (two thousand) professional members with degrees in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Chemistry and Chemical Technology and Microbiology are working in various Pharmaceutical Companies of the country.

BSPP started its journey with the name of Society for Pharmaceutical Professionals ( SPC) in 1976. With the passage of time and the urgency of the need, the name of Society for Pharmaceutical Chemists ( SPC) has been changed to Bangladesh Society for Pharmaceutical Professionals (BSPP).

In Bangladesh, a good numbers of chemists, biochemists, applied chemists, microbiologists are employed in the pharmaceutical industry. Moreover, the society includes teachers, scientists, researchers from the departments of Chemistry, Biochemistry, Applied Chemistry and Chemical Technology and Microbiology of various Universities, who are continuously playing an important role in the development of the country's pharmaceutical sector.

In the days to come, members of the Bangladesh Society for Pharmaceutical Professionals must continue to play an up-to-date role in modern and multidimensional medical sciences and become more involved in pharmaceutical research in the country in tandem with the developed world.

We believe that if the honorable members of BSPP work together, our country's pharmaceutical industry will be able to produce world-class quality medicines.
