It gives me immense pleasure to write few words about BSPP which started its journey in 1976. Bangladesh Society for pharmaceutical professionals (BSPP) is a very popular forum to the Science graduates of the different public and private Universities who intend to work in the Pharma sector of Bangladesh. This organization works for the professional development for the people working in the various pharmaceutical companies. Pharma industry is traditionally well known for providing employment opportunity to a large chunk of university Science graduate. 97% of the drugs needed in Bangladesh is produced locally. There are more than 250 pharmaceutical companies involved in drug manufacturing. BSPP keeps its members updated about the new drugs, new rules and regulations etc. and also arrange workshops, seminars and symposium regularly. BSPP played important role in scrapping the infaurous 1982 drug act (clause 13/1), Because this clause use to give one sided advantage to a particular discipline of graduates in the industry, which caused a lot of unhappiness among the professionals in the industry. Thanks to the efforts of BSPP, the clause is gone now.

BSPP over the years has achieved the confidence of its members for its organization and discipline. It is known for its uprightness, integrity, steadfastness and perseverance. We wish our members through our sincere effort job happiness and healthy life.
